What is the be active Aquatic Team Challenge?

A teams event held once a fortnight over 14 weeks. Teams consist of up to 5 people who choose to swim either 500m or 1000m. The aim is to increase the number of laps or improve your times. In turn improving your own personal fitness.

You don't have to be a good swimmer. Just aim to improve. That's how you'll gain points. Even if you can't make the distance, just aim to increase the number of laps you can swim.

Great for trimming and slimming as well as friendly team rivalry and networking.

Who can enter?

All you need is a team of up to 5 people. You don't have to swim together, the computer calculates your results. Individuals can also enter.

Venue

The Adelaide Aquatic Centre, North Adelaide

2010 series starts April 29 or May 6th

Swim Times

Fortnightly on Thursdays: 7 - 9am and 11.30 - 1.30pm on swim days

2010 Entry Fees

$192 per team (less than $5.50 per person per swim x 7 swims)
$45 for individuals

This fee covers all the event costs including entry to the pool. Each person will be provided with an entry card to allow you free entry on swim days and concession price entry for training between Fri 30 April - Thur 22 July thanks to the Adelaide Aquatic Centre.
